摘要
It is necessary to promote media education and scientific literacy in the educational context, since there is an increase in the belief in information without scientific foundations and that these are disseminated in media contexts within the vast digital world, a fact that became very evident after the rise of the novel coronavirus pandemic. The objective of this research is to analyze whether videos have been used to promote media education in science teaching, especially in chemistry teaching, using bibliographic research as a research tool. This research is qualitative in nature, with an exploratory objective and bibliographic research was used as an instrument. The number of jobs returned was low, with most of them dealing with high school. Still, it was possible to observe that in some of them the video is used to promote scientific literacy and media education, while in others, despite the favorable context, it was not so evident.
