CyTOF offers system-level monitoring of the immune system in conjunction with novel biological assays to decode immune mechanisms driving disease conditions. In the past decade, researchers have exploited the high-dimensional capabilities of CyTOF to discover disease associated cell-types and cellular features that are linked to out-comes and identified biomarkers for future treatment.
