摘要
A novel Poly(vinylidene fluoride)-Melamine (PVDF-Melamine) nanofiber scaffold has been constructed through electrospinning method. The fabricated electro spin nanofibers were subjected to further morphological and chemical characterization i.e., x-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Field emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Heat response behavior and degree of crystallinity of the nanofibers were examined through thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Mechanical strength and electrochemical behavior of the nanofibers were also analyzed. The electro spun PVDF-Melamine composite exhibited appreciable nanofiber morphology with average diameter ranging of 508.8 nm. FTIR and XRD results also confirmed the successful incorporation of melamine within the PVDF matrix. The PVDF-Melamine nanofibers possess superior mechanical strength compared to pristine PVDF nanofibers which is evident from the higher young's modulus of 12.6 MPa and enhanced tensile strength of 2.63 MPa for the PVDF-Melamine nanofiber. This work provides an approach to fabricate electro spun PVDF-Melamine nanofibers with superior mechanical strength which can be a promising material for real time applications. [GRAPHICS] .
