摘要
This qualitative interpretive analysis explores parents' perceptions of the impacts of COVID-19 on children with disabilities in Saudi Arabia. Twenty semi-structured interviews were conducted with caregivers of these kids, and data analysis was performed using a thematic approach. The results revealed that the pandemic significantly impacted the children and their parents, with numerous reports of depression and stress due to the challenges imposed by this crisis. The effects encompassed psychological, academic, and social aspects. The efficient use of distance learning platforms is emphasized as crucial. The cooperation between different sectors is highlighted as essential to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 on the lives of children.
