摘要
To investigate the uplift performance of squeezed branch pile group under vertical and horizontal loads, field test of a 2 x 2 squeezed branch pile group designed according to the load of a 1000 kV ultra-high vacuum tower foundation was carried out. Parametric studies were performed by using the finite element analysis to study the influence of horizontal to uplift load ratio and pile spacing on the bearing characteristics of squeezed branch pile group. The results showed that the uplift ultimate bearing capacity of the 2 x 2 single squeezed branch pile group was increased by 60% compared to the traditional equal diameter pile group. When the pile spacing reached 4 times diameter of pile, the branch resistance and the friction resistance of the pile were fully utilized. Based on the axial force of the back row piles subjected to the following conditions, namely that of applying a single uplift load and a horizontal uplift load, a formula for calculating the adjustment coefficient of uplift capacity under horizontal load is proposed.
