摘要
Due to improved diagnostic and therapeutic options, women with renal impairment are able to become pregnant and give birth to a healthy baby. However, depending on renal function and comorbidities, the care of these women is challenging. The recently published German S2k guideline (AWMF [Association of the Scientific Medical Societies in Germany] 015/090) aims to improve the interdisciplinary care of pregnant women with renal diseases. Recommendations have been developed which cover preconceptional counseling, risk evaluation, special aspects of antenatal care and prenatal diagnosis, as well as specific treatment options for the underlying disease in pregnant women or women wishing to conceive.
