Aperiodically intermittent pinning cluster synchronization of complex networks with hybrid delays: A region-division event-triggered protocol

摘要
This paper aims to investigate the global and exponential cluster synchronization issue for one class of complex networks with non-identical nodes and hybrid time-varying delays by proposing a novel region-division event-triggered aperiodically intermittent pinning controller. The relationship between the three subregions with non-negative real regions and the auxiliary function in the event-triggered mechanism determines whether the controller is activated or not. It should be noticed that the exponential convergence rate of synchronization can be predesigned. Sufficient conditions for the realization of the cluster synchronization are obtained globally and exponentially based on the aperiodically intermittent pinning strategy, the region-division event-triggered mechanism and the segmentation analysis method. Furthermore, the Zeno behavior is successfully excluded. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed theorem and control strategy is verified by a simulation example. (c) 2023 The Franklin Institute.
