摘要：

After offering a synthetic vision of the content and impact of Veritatis splendor, the article describes how the encyclical analyzes the doctrinal problems of the theological-moral orientation known as "autonomous morality". In particular, it deals with its way of understanding the relationship between man and God and the activity of practical reason, which involves a conception for which the competence of human intelligence in the realm of natural law is exclusive and excluding the contribution of faith and the Magisterium of the Church.
