摘要
A rare spleen hamartoma with a prevalence of 0.024% to 0.13% is essential in modern surgery. Preoperative diagnosis is difficult because the hamartoma is usually asymptomatic; the physicians' knowledge of the specifics of the examination of such patients is insufficient, while it is necessary to make a differential diagnosis with several pathologies. We present an exceptional case of simultaneous surgery performed in Armenia in connection with spleen hamartoma and cholelithiasis. The tumor was found in a 54 -year -old female patient with symptoms of cholelithiasis. Laboratory, instrumental examinations, in particular ultrasound and then CT were used to diagnose hamartoma of the spleen, combined with cholelithiasis and chronic calculous cholecystitis, which was confirmed after simultaneous surgery based on histomorphological examination. Therefore, despite the exceptional rarity of spleen hamartoma, the preoperative clinical diagnosis of this pathology allowed us to select the most effective surgical tactics.
