摘要：
A convenient and straightforward DBU-catalyzed selective isomerization of unsaturated alcohols for the construction of ketone scaffolds through a sequential deprotonation, hydrogen transfer and protonation process has been described. Control experiments demonstrate that the isomerization of propargyl alcohol can not be attributed to the Meyer-Schuster rearrangement mechanism. In addition, substrates containing both allylic alcohol and propargyl alcohol structures can be selectively isomerized to afford the dibenzylideneacetones using this method.
