摘要
The article presents an approach to the concepts of rural tourism and its possibilities for economic development, specifically focused on the Junin district, north -western Buenos Aires, Argentina. The growing demand for tourism that is respectful of the environment, away from crowded areas, with a focus on personal well-being and a connection with nature, appears as a growth opportunity for the area, which bears considerable material and immaterial heritage resources. The generation of a series of proposals guided by the Sustainable Develop-ment Goals plus the training of the host community as tourist hosts constitute the for-mula that will lead to an effective, innovative and sustainable rural tourism circuit.
