A Robust Model Predictive Control Based Frequency Regulation Approach for Wind-Storage Joint System

摘要
Compared to wind power participating in grid frequency regulation independently, a wind-storage joint system has a better frequency regulation performance. Considering the high uncertainty of wind power generation due to environmental factors, this article proposes an optimization strategy for the wind-storage joint system to participate in frequency regulation based on robust model predictive control. First, based on the principle of frequency regulation, the response models of element in windstorage joint systems are established. Secondly, aiming at minimizing the deviation cost of the system's frequency regulation power in the worst wind power output scenario, a two-layer objective function shaped like min-max is constructed, and the strong duality theory is used to transform it into a single-layer robust optimization model. Then, combined with the model predictive control idea, a robust model predictive control (RMPC) based frequency regulation model is formed. Finally, by comparing the effect difference between the model prediction control method in the deterministic scenario and the proposed method, the superiority of the proposed method in coping with the frequency regulation ability of wind power uncertainty fluctuation is proved.
