摘要
The aim of this study is to understand the meaning of the unusual recreation of fairy tales in the current narrative written in Spanish. Taken as an example << Little Red Riding Hood >>, we rely on parody's concept (Hutcheon 2000), which can be charac-terized as the repetition of an hypotext, a genre or a convention, while introducing the difference or a critical comment on the parodied object. In addition to the classic works of Jack Zipes (1986, 1993 [1983], 2012 [1983], 2014 [2012]), as well as the abundant bibliography generated around the versions of Charles Perrault and the Broth-ers Grimm, this paper considers the reflections of Catherine Orenstein (2003 [2002]) about the meanings of << Little Red Riding Hood >> and its adaptability to diverse cultural patterns. From feminist and fantastic studies, we analyze some recent rewrit-ings by Ana Maria Shua, Ema Wolf, Pilar Quintana, Kathy Serrano, Patricia Esteban Erles, Cristina Rivera Garza, Giovanna Rivero, Cristina Fernandez Cubas and Ana Martinez Castillo.
