Breakdown of polarizations of degrees given

An Abelian variety can be endowed with a polarization of fixed de-gree in only a finite number of essentially different ways. We give a bound for this number using classical ideas from the theory of algebraic groups, and more pre-cisely a theorem of Borel and Harish-Chandra concerning arithmetic subgroups of reductive groups that we transform to achieve an explicit result.
