摘要
A total of 1,300 students in Cambodia were surveyed regarding their opinions on social media and political trust, their feelings regarding social media use, engagement on social media, and interactive relationships with social media. Also, it was conducted using a questionnaire-based quantitative approach. Additionally, it employed a statistical dataset analysis using bivariate and multivariate techniques to understand its operation better. The study founds a significant correlation between trust in the political organization and political engagement. Moreover, it suggests that promoting civic engagement in social media contributes to building trust between governments and citizens. It is also possible to express political views and discuss social issues on social media.
