摘要
Near-infrared (NIR) luminescence in Bi3ScMo2O12 is reported for the first time. Lanthanides Nd3+ and Yb3+ are used to obtain near-infrared emission. Characteristic NIR emission from Nd3+ was observed in the form of lines around 897 and 1068 nm. Yb3+ by itself did not show any PL. However, by virtue of Nd3+ -> Yb3+ energy transfer, characteristic emission of Yb3+ could be obtained.
