Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS): una mirada a mitad de camino. Revisión del Objetivo 8 en México

In September 2015, the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization approved the 2030 Agenda. This action plan is focused on improving the planet and the lives of the people of the world through seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and 169 goals. However, there are factors that favor divergence for compliance. Therefore, the purpose of this document is to analyze the development of "Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth", with the intention of proposing a reflection on the progress of the SDGs in Mexico. For this, documents published by the United Nations are used, indicators that allow comparisons and academic studies that contribute to the subject. One of the main conclusions is that, now that we are halfway there, it is observed that current labor policies and regulations are an obstacle to meeting the objective, especially in times of crisis.
