摘要
Virtual education is considered as a modality in the teaching-learning process; Therefore, teachers with technological skills are required regarding the use of virtual learning environments (VLE). For this, teachers demand adequate technological training, hence the objective of this research is to determine the technological competencies of teachers, taking as a sample population, that of the Territorial Polytechnic University of the state of Trujillo "Mario Briceno Iragorry" (UPTTMBI), in virtual learning environments. The study is based on the quantitative approach under the positivist paradigm, descriptive, field, non -experimental, transectional, because the questionnaire made up of 27 questions on a frequency scale was selfadministered at a single moment to a group of 64 teachers of said university. Concluding that even though there are teachers who have technological, pedagogical, management and communication skills, it is necessary to strengthen their technological preparation in the management of EVA, specifically with what the university has available, such as the Moodle platform, with a view to achieving a highly trained teaching staff in the use of these learning spaces and thus improve the quality of teaching received by the student community.
