In this article we analyze the typology of the known Iberian roads in Valencian lands that can be established from the techniques used in their construction, depending on whether it is rocky terrain that requires tillage work, or land where retaining walls are built and embankments. We also cover the problem posed by their identification from the measurements of the axles of the cars that can be obtained in the safe identification tracks, especially at the entrances to the settlements. To do this, a wide range of paths has been analyzed, among which special attention has been paid to those that have been excavated and can be roughly dated.
