摘要
Recently, blockchain technology has been used in diverse systems and applications beyond cryptocurrencies. With features such as data immutability and a decentralized structure, blockchain technology is increasingly being adopted in various governance use cases where trust and security are essential concerns, particularly in smart campus areas. Education or learning is a field that offers several opportunities to integrate blockchain into its systems. However, there is a luck of studies into which blockchain platforms, based on consensus algorithms, are most suitable for adopting into a smart education environment. Further study is required to guide education informatics researchers in selecting and developing a suitable blockchain platform for experimenting with their applications. This paper will evaluate which consensus algorithm and blockchain platform are appropriate to apply to such an environment based on its quality requirements.
