摘要：
A new species of Dieffenbachia, named as D. simoneae, has been identified in a terra firme tropical rainforest in the state of Amazonas, Brazil. Described here, D. simoneae is similar to D. humilis and D. cannifolia. Notes on habitat, geographic distribution and conservation status are presented.
