摘要
The essential mission of teaching and learning history is that students acquire knowledge, skills, values, and adopt attitudes that facilitate understanding of the current reality of the universe, with emphasis on the nation in which they live, while at the same time Allow yourself to have an active role in the transformation of your environment. This article tries to address a crucial problem for the formation of current and future generations of Cubans. The teaching of the History of Cuba plays an essential role in this process and is affected by shortcomings related to the training process of the teachers in charge of teaching this discipline. The work is part of a moment of transformations of the Cuban reality and improvement of the secondary education system, which imposes challenges to the application of ways and methods of teaching-learning of History, especially of Cuba, that allow reaching higher levels. Motivation and soundness in knowledge. The proposal analyzes some of the main difficulties and proposes approaches and actions to improve the teaching of Cuban History in the training of Marxism and History teachers in our universities.
