Features of the Microstructure and Thermoelectric Properties of Bi2Te2.7Se0.3 + Fe Composites with Core-Shell Filler Inclusions

摘要
Features of the thermoelectric properties and microstructure of composites with a matrix based on Bi2Te2.7Se0.3 and an Fe filler were ascertained. A composition with filler weight content 0.3% Fe has a higher quality factor ZT compared to theBi(2)Te(2.7)Se(0.3) matrix. For this composition the maximum value of ZT reaches about 0.75, while for Bi2Te2.7Se0.3 ZT does not exceed about 0.63. So, in a composite of the system Bi2Te2.7Se0.3 + Fe the thermoelectric quality factor can be increased by about 20%.
