摘要
We study the chaoticity-dependent atomic transport of a spin-orbit (SO) coupled Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) held in an optical superlattice. Considering the phase synchronization between the motional states, we obtain the chaotic perturbed solution and the current density-related chaos parameter regions by using the analytical Melnikov's chaos criterion. We analytically demonstrate that the area of high-chaoticity region enlarges as the decrease of current density J(1). Then we numerically generate the Poincare sections to pinpoint that the chaos probability is enhanced with the decrease of the current components and the large current component J(2) results in the zero chaoticity. The insensitivity of the chaoticity to some ranges of initial conditions and the influence of chemical potential on chaoticity are also investigated. These results reveal a feasible scheme to control the regular and chaotic states by adjusting the parameters and initial condition.
