Educating cities: constructive interaction with the Articulated Action Plan ( PAR)

This article, with a qualitative and bibliographical approach, addresses the theme of the Articulated Action Plan (PAR) and Educating Cities. Aiming to understand the concept of Educating Cities, starting from some principles of the International Association of Educating Cities (AICE) and authors that frame the theme. An attempt was made to establish connections between these references and the actions proposed by PAR, which has, among its goals, the development of a strategic plan that enables a participatory and collaborative character on the part of managers, schools, and society in general. It presents a demonstration of the possibility of elaborating PAR actions related to the principles established by AICE for an educating city. As a result, a perspective of an educating city is presented, empowered to think about PAR's actions in basic education, whose educational principles make it possible to expand an education of quality, equity, and inclusion.
