摘要
This study aims to prepare transparent TEMPO-oxidized CNF/acryl composite materials with flexibility and good mechanical properties by using charge repulsion between TEMPO-oxidized CNFs and anionic polymer emulsions. The effects of CNF content, lamination, and reaction with polymerizable isocyanate on the transparency and mechanical properties of the resulting composite films were investigated. The transparency of the composite films decreased with increasing CNF content, but samples containing 30 wt.% CNF retained 80% T transmittance. In addition, the Young modulus and tensile strength increased significantly with the addition of CNF. Lamination with monomers containing urethane acrylate improved the smoothness of the film, showed improved transparency, and improved mechanical properties while retaining flexibility. Reaction with a polymerizable isocyanate before lamination resulted in a significant reduction in water absorption and further improvement in mechanical properties, although flexibility was reduced.
