摘要
The main purpose of this research is to examine the psychological and behavioral consequences of nostalgic emotions. Specifically, the study examines the interrelationships between nostalgic emotions, meaning in life, subjective well-being, and revisit intentions. Data were collected using an online survey via MTurk, and structural equation modeling was used to test the proposed hypotheses. Findings reveal that nostalgic emotions have significant effects on meaning in life, subjective well-being, and revisit intention. Also, the meaning in life and subjective well-being have effects on revisit intention. Further analysis shows that meaning in life and subjective well-being mediate the effects of nostalgic emotions on revisit intention. The theoretical and practical implications are discussed.
