LEARNING STRATEGY IN PHYSICS FOR STUDENTS WITH MILD AND MODERATE INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES

摘要
This research developed a didactic proposal based on meaningful learning from Novak's humanistic perspective, to teach the concepts of sound and light through a personalized project for a group of children with mild and moderate cognitive disabilities, in the fifth grade of primary school in the municipality of Chaparral Tolima. The main objective was to establish teaching criteria to improve and motivate the learning of Physics, regarding the concepts of sound and light in children with mild and moderate cognitive disabilities; and thereby define the characteristics, teaching tools and evaluation criteria about the cognitive and motivational scope that this group of children can develop with the intervention of a personalized project designed according to their specific learning abilities and needs. Thus leaving a practical theoretical reference, to develop teaching learning strategies in the field of Physics, especially for primary school children and specifically for people with cognitive disabilities. That according to the results it can be indicated that the design of a personalized project according to the characterization and specific learning needs of this group of students allowed to improve the teaching learning processes with a level of basic cognitive achievement and a level of motivational achievement. tall; since the activities and resources of the strategy were according to their needs and abilities, making the students work on the activities without much difficulty individually and with their peers.
