摘要
Renewable energy, seen as a crucial element for achieving sustainability, encompasses numerous advantages, although it is not devoid of potential adverse consequences. The presence of negative externalities is one of the contributing factors that hinder the progress of transitioning to renewable energy systems. The negative consequences encompassed within this context include the decline of biodiversity, fragmentation of habitats, extinction of wildlife, excessive utilization of valuable resources and land, aesthetic considerations, noise pollution, economic loss, reduced business power, displacement, intentional or unintentional relocation, and potential social conflict. The primary objective of this thorough analysis is to present stakeholders with a comprehensive perspective on the environmental, economic, and social drawbacks linked to renewable energy. The discoveries made in this study have the potential to enhance the effectiveness of the strategic planning and execution of renewable energy projects.
