摘要
The variable luminescence of organic materials exhibits extensive potential in the application of waveguide and display. Nevertheless, achieving luminescence regulation of a wide range from visible to near-infrared (NIR) regions based on a single organic molecule system remains a challenge. Herein, a series of pyrene-based isomorphic cocrystals is presented, in which energy levels are tailored through modulating arene-perfluoroarene (AP) and charge-transfer (CT) interactions, offering tunable emission from visible to NIR II region. Impressively, these organic microrods in this work were successfully applied to multi-color waveguides at the micro-level as well as displayed by quick response (QR) codes at the macro-level, which pioneer new paths in advanced photonics. This work offers a simple and effective approach to obtain organic crystals with emission from 400 to 1100 nm, thereby opening up possibilities to fabricate core materials for multiple optoelectronics.
