This study first analyzed the pinpoints and existing solutions of cross-border e-commerce for agricultural products, pointed out the root causes of information asymmetry, trust issues, and regulatory deficiencies. Then, based on the characteristics of cross-border trade in agricultural products, a blockchain technology-based optimization model for cross-border e-commerce for agricultural products was proposed. This model achieved the sharing and validation of agricultural supply chain data by establishing a traceable and transparent blockchain network, Through technological means such as smart contracts, this model ensures the security and credibility of transactions, and improves the efficiency of cross-border regulation. Finally, case analysis and empirical research are conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the blockchain technology-based optimization model for cross-border e-commerce of agricultural products. The research results indicate that this model effectively solves existing problems, reduces the latency of cross-border e-commerce, achieves complete agricultural supply chain information sharing, and improves the operational efficiency and market competitiveness of cross-border e-commerce for agricultural products. This study provides a new approach and approach to address information asymmetry, trust issues, and regulatory challenges in cross-border e-commerce of agricultural products.
