Through the establishment of the ASNT Foundation, ASNT is actively assessing the current state of the nondestructive testing (NDT) workforce and implementing solutions for a strong and reliable future for the industry. The NDT workforce has been suffering from a significant shortage of qualified technicians entering the field each year, with an increasing number of retiring technicians. To address this conundrum, ASNT is focusing on implementing solid strategies to provide adequate services that meet our stakeholders' current and future needs.
