摘要
The Paris Agreement made in 2015 triggers the decarbonization trend around the globe. Many countries have joined the fight against climate change as the trend proliferates. Mega-cities are under the spotlight for being to blame for producing the major partials of the total emissions of urban areas. This study proposes an evaluation framework that assesses clean energy production and consumption, energy cost, and supply stability of megacities through an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) based approach. The purpose of the assessment system is to quantify the cleanness of a power system and tracks system performance toward carbon neutrality. We applied the structured assessment to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area by the data from the latest three consecutive years.
