摘要
This paper proposes an adaptive technique for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) in photovoltaic (PV) systems under variable environmental conditions including partial shading, dynamic shading, and temperature changes. Despite some difficulties related to MPPT, such as steady-state oscillation, numbers of sensors, cost of hardware implementation, and software complexity, the most significant challenge is related to the global maximum power point (GMPP) under partial shading conditions (PSC). Here, we propose an adaptive algorithm that can track the GMPP in PV systems through power-voltage (P-V) and current-voltage (I-V) curves. Moreover, the algorithm's output is the set-point voltage, used as the reference voltage for Proportional Integral (PI) controllers in DC-DC power converters. Additionally, the PI controller for closed-loop control is a unique method for regulating the set-point of the converter. The proposed algorithm can track the most general variables such as partial shade, moving shade, and temperature changes of the maximum power point in the shortest time possible. The accuracy and efficiency of the proposed algorithm are assessed through some simulations in the MATLAB Simulink.
