摘要
A silicate-glass-based solid-core anti-resonant fiber was fabricated by drilling and rod-in-tube method in this work. The fiber with a core diameter of 37.5 mu m exhibited confinement loss of 1.33 dB/m at the anti-resonant wavelength of 1812.5 nm when subtracting the glass material loss. The laser at 1812.5 nm showed a beam quality with M2 factor of 1.56 after propagating in the anti-resonant fiber with a length of 0.3 m. Future improvement of raw material purity and optimization of fiber uniformity would promote the fiber transmission performance to extend its practical applications in high-power fiber laser and novel fiber device development.
