摘要
Quality is considered an important aspect of any organization, and due to the influence of technology, the competition in the international market is increasing day by day. The industry 4.0 paradigm is transforming organizations into intelligent systems and raising the concepts in the supply chain such as Logistics 4.0, Procurement 4.0. Consequently, there is a need for an organized process to replace the legacy quality control process with quality 4.0 in the present scenario. This study relies on previous research, studies, and organization expert's opinions to jointly propose a revised quality control procedure based on a mix of numerous Industry 4.0 technologies such as radio frequency identification devices, sensors, internet of things, autonomous robots, smartphone, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and many more. A re-designed quality control process is established, and its benefits are addressed. The proposed redesign can significantly improve price, time, traceability, automation, human effort, information availability, and ambiguity. The proposed re-engineering method discusses factors involved in quality control and the impact of Industry 4.0 technologies on different activities of the quality process. The recommended procedure is based on business process reengineering, which helps to improve the traditional method and anticipate the new approach.
