Colorectal cancer, from screeningto diagnosis

Colorectal cancer is a real public health issue because it affects a large population. While following healthy dietary rules can reduce the risk of primary prevention, participation in the generalized screening program from age 50 onwards is a major factor in the effectiveness of care, complementing the therapeutic advances that have made it possible to gain in terms of overall survival. The role of primary care profes-sionals, particularly pharmacists and general practitioners, in promoting the program to the general public is crucial to its success. (c) 2023 Elsevier Masson SAS.
