摘要
A summary of the many arguments and steps underlying the concept of entropy typical of those invoked in an undergraduate classical thermodynamics course is offered. The intent is a compact retrospective treatment appropriate for classroom presentation and discussion after students have encountered the various formal derivations and arguments.
