摘要
Strategic management plays an important role in business management and corporate vision, for the sake of achieving success. Objective: Reflect to discuss the interrelationship in decision -making processes for efficient strategic management in business, valuing information, ICTs and digital marketing as fundamental aspects in the need to transform the organizational scheme of the company, in such a way that it allows maneuvering in a more linear way as well as effectively capturing the mission and vision of the company to all those involved in the processes. Methodological; The study carried out presents, from the qualitative point of view, an analytical, logical and hermeneutic character, in which the critical survey or bibliographic review as a source of information. Results and Discussion: Strategic planning, fully carried out according to the strategic direction will always guarantee the achievement of objectives and goals. The purpose of this research is to analyze strategic management and its close relationship with business development and see how it responds to the new demands of the modern global environment with respect to economic, social and technological aspects. Conclusion: The investigation was documentary allowing to make a sketch in the consulted bibliographic sources, resulting in highlighting that strategic management helps to change mental models for decision making and business direction north of success. Contribution: It is demonstrated that strategic management helps to bring order and discipline to the activities of the company in its internal processes and external activities, resulting in efficiency in decision making.
