摘要
The objective of this paper is to present the contribution of Ernest Lavisse in the renovation of history teaching in the secondary schools of his time. After recalling the context in which his action is situated, his ideas are successively presented on the aims and methods of this teaching, then his proposals for a deep reform of the scientific and pedagogical training of history teachers. If Ernest Lavisse is not the only to question the necessary renovation of history teaching, he is the one who has been able to define in a clear and accurate way of the teacher's mission.
