摘要
The high cost of fuel cells hinders their broad application in transportation and industry. Efforts should be made to find possibilities for reducing their cost, including through the reduction of auxiliary component costs and increasing their efficiency (Balance of the Plant). The authors propose using a high-speed induction motor in the air compressor drive, which is cheaper than the currently used PMSM motors. The paper proposes a high speed drive system utilizing the SiC inverter and the 6,3 kW high-speed induction motor with a rated rotational speed of 79 800 rpm and a frequency of 2667 Hz. This system can be applied to the air turbocharger of a 100 kW fuel cell
