摘要
The effect of CST (CdSeXTe1-X) Se (x) composition and thickness on the performance of CST/CdTe solar cells heat treated at different CdCl2 temperatures has been studied. The superstrate cell structure was: ITO/MZO/CST/CdTe/Back Contact. CdTe and CST bi-layer absorbers were deposited by the CSS (close spaced sublimation) process. The CST Se composition and thickness varied from 10-40% and 0.25-1.0 mu m respectively. With the increase of Se composition, VOC decreased and J(SC), fill factor increased due to the decrease in the band gap. A CST thickness of 0.50 mu m resulted in the highest VOC and fill factor. The best performance was obtained for 27% Se with 0.50 mu m CST. Performing the CdCl2 heat treatment at 430 degrees C resulted in the highest minority carrier lifetime and improved performance.
