Schatzungen zu Folge leiden zwischen 6 und 17% der Menschen mit einer rheumatischen Arthritis (RA) an einer schwer zu behandelnden Erkrankungsform (engl. difficult-to-treat RA; D2T-RA). Sie sprechen nicht auf multiple DMARDs (Disease-Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs) an und leiden anhaltend an einer starken Krankheitsaktivitat. Liegen die Ursachen fur diese Problematik moglicherweise in einem ungunstigen initialen Management der Erkrankung?
