摘要
In recent years, considerable attention has been paid to polymer blends containingthermotropic liquid crystalline polymers (TLCP). Thermotropic LCPs are long-chainorganic molecules, usually fully aromatic polyesters, which have sufficient chainstiffness to give extremely high stiffness and strength, and yet have sufficientflexibility to melt. The blend of isotropic thermoplastics with thermotropic TLCPs canbe processed and molded by conventional extrusion and injection molding.
