At the invitation of the Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU), a 17 - member delegation consisted of friendly NGO personnel from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Indonesia visited China from October 22 to November 2. During their stay in Beijing, CAFIU Secretary-General Ni Jian, head of a department of Ministry of Agriculture and a scholar from Tsinghua University gave briefings on China’s basic national conditions, China’s
