Objective To investigate the prevalence of thyroid nodule(TN)and to explore the independent risk factors in elderly(age≥45 years)patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods 173 T2DM were enrolled and 100 individuals without T2DM were selected as the control group.173 T2DM were divided into TN92 cases(T2DM-TN group)and non TN 81 cases(Non-TN
