China's need on innovative circular economy indicators

Due to China’s increasing concerns on resource depletion and environmental pollution,traditional linear development approach has to be changed.Circular economy,an approach that proposes a closed-loop of material flows in the economy,is one feasible option since it can add value to businesses and communities by optimizing the use of energy,materials and community resources.Therefore,circular economy has been adopted as a national development strategy since early 2000.Although in existence to some level,the Chinese circular economy policy was recently reinforced through stronger regulatory actions in 2009.That is,an official circular economy promotion law was introduced,emphasizing the circular economy direction of environmental and resource policy for all of China.This emphasis meant that significant additional governmental resources would be invested in this law.It is now just becoming a concern that the law has had
