High-and ultrahigh-pressure(UHP)eclogite-bearing metamorphic assemblages in the North Tianshan of Kyrgyzstan contain eclogite-bearing garnet amphibolites interlayered with phengite-beearing granitoid gneisses.The mafic rocks were previously interpreted as remnants of a Precambrianm ophiolite,but field relationships clearly
