摘要：
Algorithms of modifying a surface to approximate some scattered points, or pass through some characteristic points/curves are presented. Similar to variational approach, the algorithms are based on optimization. For the deviation between the modified surface and the original one is adopted as the objective functions, the change of the surface shape is as small as possible with the modified surface satisfying the specified requirements.
