STATIC AND SPHERICALLY SYMMETRIC MONOPOLE SOLUTIONS IN SU(N) GAUGE THEORY

摘要：

In the interaction system of the SU(N) gauge and the Higgs fields in adjoint representation.we find out all the point monopole solutions of SU(N) static and spherically symmetric gange fieldsas asymptotic forms of finite-mass regular monopole solutions at space infinity and in the Higgsvacuum region. We tabulate all the unequivalent or unquasi-equivalent monopole solutions and theirtotal magnetic charges for SU(N), N = 2,3,4,5. Finally we discuss the relation between magneticcharge and the topological property of the Higgs field concretely.
